About the Blog
Over the years I've amassed a huge collection of software, hardware, and other weird projects. This blog is a place where I can finally document these projects and provide a more permanent archive of knowledge I've picked up along the way. I've received lots of free education on the internet, and I'd like to pay that back in kind.
The writing of this blog is my own, as are any images I include in my articles. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any content on this blog is released under the GNU GPLv3 license. No AI or LLM content is used in this blog.
About Me
I'm a kobold from the interior of British Columbia, Canada. I'm into many technical hobbies, including audio hardware, lighting hardware, and retro computing, as well as practical skills like carpentry and soapmaking. You might run into me at cons in BC or Alberta, but I'm rather shy. Happily partnered to Kiero, whom I love dearly.
If you want to reach out to me about an article, or just to say hi, you can find me on Telegram @Akaath or send an email to akaath@akaath.net. If you're looking for hardware design for a commercial project then feel free to reach out - I'm always interested in freelance work.
